EACI/IACI Certified Training
Basic training abstinence based guidance and counseling
The goal of the course is to understand and practice the basics of addiction counseling.
We will train intensively during seven days in four months. Our aim is to learn and practice core functions of an addiction counselor. You will work on assignments in the time between the two blocks.
In this basis course we will focus on the psychopathology of addiction, how to support and counsel patients and how to become a reliable professional.
In order to function professionals, we invite our students to work on themselves as well. The combination of being in recovery and helping others can be a challenge which needs rigourous dedication and the capacity to take our feedback.
Our groups work closely together, studying IACI is a great opportunity to meet others and get acquainted with organizations we can introduce you to. We work in groups of ten students maximum.
