We train (future) professionals in addiction counselling and dual diagnosis. Short trainings,direct effect. Open for all levels of experience.
Training by professionals
Most of trainers and teachers are in recovery themselves. All trainers are fully certified and recognized for teaching at post graduate/academic level.
Training at your venue
We train worldwide at your location. We design training on demand. Our standard modules are basic or advanced training for effective use in 12-Step treatment centers.
Who we are
Elsden training consists of an international team of 17 driven professionals, led by Meino de Vries. We all work in the field of addiction at various positions worldwide. Our aim is to put theory and experience into practice. Training is learning theory, enhancing skills and active use of what was learned during training. All Elsden trainers have a background in addiction and psychiatry as well as education. We each hand over our own specific expertise tot you and your colleagues. Abstinence based CBT treatment will always be our focus. Our active careers as treatment professionals and teachers will enable us to teach you actual trends and developments in a pleasant and diverse learning method. We always combine theory and practice.

Combined strength
We focus on expanding our programme to the mediterranean area (Spain, Italy) and are open for cooperation with U.S partners for Dual Diagnosis training activities.
For our students, we also like to get in contact with more organizations that are willing to take in students for a few weeks as a co-therapist and ofcourse benefit from their professional presence, preferred locations are UK, Spain and Portugal.
